Eyewear
Glasses, measured to your face
The frame is only part of the fit. Our opticians measure where each lens sits in front of each eye, and check the result when you come back to pick them up.
Your prescription is yours. We give you a copy after your exam and fitting, and you can fill it anywhere. We never ask you to buy from us to get it.

What we help you choose
Frame fit and size
Bridge, temple length and width, checked on your face and not on a chart.
Lens material
Standard, thinner or impact-resistant, depending on your prescription and how you live.
Coatings
Anti-glare and scratch-resistant coatings, explained so you only pay for the ones you'll notice.
Lenses for screens
Designs for a long day at a monitor, and for switching between a screen and a page.
Progressives and readers
One pair for near, middle and far, fitted carefully so the transition is easy to learn.
Sun lenses with your prescription
Tints and polarized lenses, made to your prescription in the frame you pick.
Billing and what to bring
How it's billed
Many vision plans have an eyewear benefit for frames and lenses. We check it before you order and tell you what is left to pay. Without a plan, we give you a written estimate first.
What to bring
Your current glasses
Your prescription, if it's from another office
Your vision insurance card, if you have one

About eyewear
Can I use my prescription from another office?
Yes. Bring it and we fit lenses to it.
Do you repair and adjust glasses?
Yes. We tighten, straighten and re-fit glasses, including pairs bought elsewhere, when the frame allows.
How long do glasses take?
We tell you the day when you order, since it depends on the lenses. We call when they're ready.
