Bring any prescription. We'll fit it.

Temple is an optical shop with an eye doctor in the back. Walk in with a prescription from anyone, try frames in the fitting room, and leave with a pair measured to your face.

Shapes and materials, no logos

We sort the wall by outline and by material, not by maker. Pick a shape that sounds like you and we bring pairs to try.

  1. Soft and bookish. Balances a strong jaw.

  2. A level top and a gentle drop. Works at a desk and on a stage.

  3. Sharp corners and a firm line for a rounder face.

  4. Lifted at the corners, with a line across the cheekbone.

  5. Thin metal, wide at the top. Light on the nose.

  6. A heavy brow bar over a lighter rim below.

Bring a prescription

A prescription from anywhere works here

From your doctor back home, a clinic across town or an exam last spring. We check that it's current, read it with you, and fit lenses to it.

  • Glasses prescriptions from any eye doctor

  • We check the date and read it with you

  • Lenses cut for your frames and your eyes

  • Adjusted to your face at pickup
